Hello

Do you remember that old visual joke where someone asks a man "Do you have any kids?" whereupon the man whips out his wallet and six feet of accordion-fold pictures unravel while he proudly launches into a recounting of the bowel movements of the youngest? Er, welcome to Robinsend the web site.

Barley

Tu Schu's Untied CD ME - aka Butane Barley, thrice crowned Fastest Cairn Terrier in the Northwest (1997, 1998, & 2001) is also an AKC Master Earthdog and a titled Companion Dog . Our first cairn: first in our house, first in our hearts, and first in line at the food bowl. One of Barley's many nicknames is Pit Boss. Barley also gave us our kennel name, Robinsend.

Haggis

CH Joywood's Thrill of the Chase CD ME - most cairns are fairly happy-go-lucky but you could use this guy's tail as a fan. As a puppy he wagged his tail in his sleep. He's the best little pal a person could have. In addition to being an AKC champion Haggis is a natural at earthwork (a fearsome worker, he). With a racing style reminiscent of NASCAR Haggis was a one-time Fastest Cairn Terrier in the Northwest. He's a Dad and a Grandfather. Of course the other haggis has fans, too.

Rosebud

CH Joywood's Rosebud JE - "Bud Lite" is a clone of her mother Rosie and the classic black brindle "Toto dog." Her hobby is collecting toys from around the house and redecorating her crate with them. Move over Martha Stewart. Rosebud also excelled in a very special role.

Biscuit

Stonemark's Biscuit JE - Field Marshall Biscuit rules the playground with an iron paw. She also likes to play Moray Cairn by hiding under the furniture pretending no one can see her. The thumping noise of her tail whapping the chair leg gives her away every time. She was a great Mom and has moved on to a second career in her retirement, being a Cairn caregiver to the sweetest elderly Westie.

Echo

CH Robinsend Bit of A Thrill ME - Is there an Echo in here? Indeed, this red brindle bundle of tomboy energy was nearly called Haggis Junior. Following in her father's pawsteps as a terrific earthworker, Echo also inherited the racing gene and has held the title Fastest Cairn Terrier in the Northwest, 2002.

Terriers

What is it with terriers, anyway?

Earthdogs

Who says the AKC is stuffy? My hat is off to any organization that allows your best friend to earn a title called Junior Earthdog. We're active in our local area, through Oregon Trail's End Earthdog Club.
